Kathy Burkin

I met Ken in May when he was passing through Fremont. He stopped by our building because he was interested in its architecture. After telling him its history as an office building, hotel, and now an apartment building and home of the WSOS Fremont Senior Center, Ken joined me for lunch in the dining room. He stopped by my office several times in recent weeks, and we always enjoyed lively conversations about his travels, faith, and love of people. I will treasure the post card that I received last week telling me that he looked forward to coming to Fremont again.
