Gus Secor
Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Gus is a 1979 graduate of Willard High School and a 1983 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1983 and had worked closely with his parents until his father passed away in 2002 and his mother in 2003, at which time he assumed operation of the three funeral homes. He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, the Ohio Embalmers Association and various community organizations. He and his wife Sherri have been married since 1991 and have a daughter, Madie Jo.
Mark Metzger
Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Mark is a lifelong resident of Willard and a 1988 graduate of Willard High School. He received his Associate Degree in Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from NCTC in 1992 and he received his BSBA degree from Ashland University in 1996. He graduated from Pittsburg Institute of Mortuary Science in January of 2016. He is a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Knights of Columbus in Willard. In 2012 he married Julie who is a Medical Staff Coordinator at Mercy Willard Hospital, has 3 children; Kira, Chase and Alaina; and three grand children. Together they enjoy spending time with family and friends, working at local sprint car race tracks and attending auto racing events.
Jocelyn (Secor) Kaple
Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Jocelyn is a 2005 graduate of Willard High School and a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Resource Management. She then went on to obtain her Associate’s degree at Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 2010.
Jocelyn and her husband, Brandon, have two daughters and a son and reside in Willard. She attends St. Francis Xavier Church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Madaline Jo SecorĀ
Licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer
Madie is a 2018 graduate of Willard High School. She then went onto attend Cleveland State University for two years before attending and graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2021.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing recreational basketball and volleyball. Madie coaches the Willard elementary girls in basketball and volleyball as well. She enjoys going to concerts, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Madie is a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She is excited to be back serving her community while working along side her father, Gus, and cousin, Jocelyn, for the family business.
