Beverly Jean Carnahan, age 79, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1931 in Groverhill, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mabel (Smith) Burns and had been a Willard resident most of her life. She had been employed as a nurse aide at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard. She was also a member of the Superior Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Willard and a was an avid camper, where she was a member of the Skeeter-Waters in Findlay, Ohio.
She is survived by her six daughters, Shirley (David) Ferris of Aurora; Janice Clevenger of Willard; Cathy Tikkala of New Haven; Terry Schwab of New Haven; Patti Loffredo of New Haven; Vicky (Kenneth) Conley of Milan; a son-in-law, William Gullett of Greenup, KY; fifteen grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; four step great grandchildren; four step great great grandchildren; three brothers, William Greenwood of Florida; James Burns of Kendelville, IN; and Michael Burns of Auburn, IN; three sisters, Lavenia Dalton of Smithersville, WV; Jacqueline Bodine of Nevada; and Mary Ann Hoover of Edgerton, OH.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Carnahan; a daughter, Vivian Gullett; a grandson, Giovanni Loffredo; a son-in-law, Richard Tikkala; three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Roger Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church. Online can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I'm so very sorry to have missed you, lavenia dalton is now rest in peace at Greenwood cemetery next to her grand parent's Greenwoods she past in May 6th 2014 at age 91..god bless them both...

Girls – I am very sorry for the loss you must bear with the passing of your mother. She is with her “Bobby” again -I always thought it was so cute when she would call him that. I think maybe she and my mom are having a good long chat about now – they will have a lot to catch up on about the neighborhood. May God grant you peace and comfort at this time.
