Mark was not only a good friend (he literally helped me pass chemistry in high school); he was a wonderful neighbor to my parents for many years.
I especially appreciated how supportive Mark was when Tim was ill – particularly all the good advice he gave us about kidney transplants and dialysis. Ever a devoted husband and father, I know his family adored him, as did his many students and the teachers with whom he worked.
Mark truly left his imprint on many, many people in our community. My heart goes out to you, Penny, and to David, Christopher, Patrick and Lexi. Our love and sympathy to you all.
