Doug Boone, age 61, of Shelby, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Crestwood Care Nursing Home in Shelby, Ohio. He was born September 11, 1950 in Cullman, AL to the late Thomas and Edith (Isbell) Boone. He enjoyed coon hunting and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by 5 children; Eddie Boone, Aaron Roberts of Plymouth, Michelle Irven of Plymouth, Jennifer Schranck of Greenwich and Caitlin Boone of Plymouth; 8 grandchildren; 4 siblings, Marlin Knight, Faye Robertson, Al Boone, all of Alabama and Duane Boone of Greenwich; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Edith Boone; brother, Willie Boone and a half brother, Billy Smart.
Friends may come to the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Friday, April 13, 2012 from Twelve Noon to 1:00 PM where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
