I am thankful that I have the opportunity to leave a message here. I wish it hadn’t been so long since I had seen uncle Jimmy, but I am so grateful that I got to know him even for a little while. Uncle Jimmy will always be present in my memories with a kind, quick, bright smile and a warm sturdy hug. I am holding our family and Jim’s friends in my heart as they learn to navigate without his comforting presence. I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle and friend.
Jimmy, you fought a hard fight, and we are proud of you. I hope your homecoming was so very sweet and that you are now able to do all that you’ve been missing. You are so loved here, and until we meet again, thank you for being you.
