To Charlies family; brother Gerald and wife, sister Charlene and husband, and wife Ruth, whom he was so proud of! Last time I saw him, he told me he was “very happy being an old married man!”. There are so many good memories and coming of age stories.. the bonfire parties, guitar playing and singing, the VW van, concerts, camping, Kawasaki motorcycle trips to west Virginia, bugs in my teeth (yuck!), catching my first fish, my first apartment. He even built me an outside potty for camping once! The consumate gentleman! Many “heady hippie” conversations over beer, white lightening, etc. at Larry’s tavern or wherever he was! He was a kind and gentle giant. He used to say “when I die I hope they say “I left good dust behind”. If you can hear me now, Charlie, you most certainly did. You’ll always have a place in my heart. I recently lost my husband Jerry of 27 years to cancer; life’s certainly not easy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely and respectfully yours, Lynn Sullivan Cupp .
