My first meeting with Minnie was at the Lutheran Church. She said "Hello, my name is Minnie even though I'm a Maxie" with her contagious smile. That is how I will always remember her. I've missed her in HER favorite pew.

Just heard about Minny. Mom had talked to Naomi, who passed word along. Very sorry for Minny's passing, condolences from all of us out here in Colorado--Marge, Vicki and I. I'll pass word to Terry, he's up in Dillon Montana. It was always a huge treat to visit Minny and family when we'd drive over from North Fairfield. She always had a twinkle in her eye and smile in her voice. I'm thankful that we got to see her when we were there for Richard Painter's service. Sorry we couldn't be there for Minny, but our loving thoughts go with her.

Dear Jim, Kelly, and Family: My deepest condolences for the loss of your mom. A glorious character, seeming always on the verge of laughter from the latest joke that she was silently awaiting to spring, she was one of my favorite aunts. Seems like just yesterday that we were all having a ball(game) on one holiday get together or another, when we had nothing but good-natured fun and enjoyment of each other's company. I remain confident that there will be a great family reunion one day, including all those loved ones we now miss...You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May God bless you.

Dear Jim, Kelly, and families— I’m so sorry at the passing of your wonderful mother. She was a part of my life and my families life for so many years! I got to know her when I was really young and was friends with Kyle and all through school with Jim. She was always Mrs. Clark to me, and I think I was in my 60s before I ever thought to call her Minnie. A ritual my mother still has, is her Thursday hair appointment which eventually happened with Wendy, but even then on days that my sisters or I were with her, your mother always part of so glass of wine. Not that many years ago, denny and And were part of that get together. I hope they are all up They are together having a glass of wine and knowing how much they were loved and still are and I hope that helps heal some of the loss. Your mother (and grandmother and great grandmother! ) was one of a kind, Which I realize is not news to you, but I hope you know how much she meant to many people in your circles and in the community. God bless.

I want to send you my sympathy in the lose of your mother. I am the sister-in-law of Ada Hammer, who was a beautician in her home in Ontario and close friend of your mom. She spoke of Minnie often and I know that they did each other's hair for many years. Ada passed away some years ago due to an accident while walking. I felt like I knew your mom because I heard so many loving things about her from Ada.

Dear Jim, Kelly, Megan, Chad, Lindy, Karlie, Katie, Natalie and Chelsea, As with everyone who knew her, there are so many memories swirling around my head about your mom and Grandma. Minny is a treasured piece of many of our lives for so many reasons. Her droll, salty sense of humor was one of things I lovedabout her- so was her inimitable elderberry pie! And she was always fun to have a drink with!!! I hope she is having a bang-up reunion with Kyle and your Dad and her siblings. I pray that you all find peace and comfort in your many wonderful memories of her. She is most definitely one of my most unforgettable characters.
