Barry was one of my best friends growing up! During those high school years I spent a lot of time with Barry and cannot begin to tell you all of the stories I have on him… Not too long ago he called me to tell me about his sickness and we spent some time discussing how to go forward. We discussed how Coach McFarren would advise him, So I have no doubt Barry faced this difficult opponent head on till the very end!! I will miss my close friend and will never forget him. GO BIG RED!!
