Condolences to Sam’s family in this difficult time. I met Sam several years ago in Bellevue trackside while we were waiting for some trains. We stood and talked for a couple hours. I ran into him several times after that and we always had great conversation. I will miss his photographs and knowledge and his passion for railroading.
