My condolences to the family of Sam Sponseller. He was a great friend and my rail fan buddy. I met Sam at Fostoria and he helped me learn more about the heritage units. We would meet up at Willard and Greenwich and go to lunch sometimes at noon. In 2019 I caught the 4014 and 844. I shared the videos with him and he loved them. I will miss him trackside.
