Myrtle “Jean” Caudill, 72, of Shelby, OH, was called home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2025, at Riverside Memorial Hospital in Columbus, OH. Born on July 15, 1952, in Jackson, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Junior Caudill and Melva Collins-Brewer.

Jean’s life was a testament to faith, family, and love. She leaves behind a legacy through her children: Pamela Wolery (Lugo), John (Raina Waldruff) Lugo, Antonio “Tony” Lugo, Amanda (Chuck) Simpson, Joshua (Jaime) Patterson, Jericho Patterson, and Jason Patterson. She was a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren: Kristen (Bryan) Chandler, Chastity (Dakota) Fulton, Haley (Derrick) Berberick, Whittney (Justin) King, Tori (Alex) Campo, Savanna Triplett, Zyn Lugo, Isaiah Patterson, and Josalynn Patterson.

Affectionately known as “Gigi” to her eleven great-grandchildren—Peyton, Ella, Rocco, Kennedy, Milana, Zane, Kenzee, Brantley, Konnor, Meelah, and Carter. Jean brought warmth and joy to all their lives. She leaves behind her beloved siblings, cousins, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.

She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, several siblings, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and her precious great-granddaughter, Isabella Chandler.

Jean will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her radiant smile, and her steadfast faith in God. Her kind spirit and infectious laugh lit up every room she entered, and her love knew no bounds. She was a source of strength, wisdom, and comfort to all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the countless family members and friends whose lives she touched. While she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Calling hours will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Rick Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich, Ohio.  Online condolences may be made to Myrtle’s family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
