It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Dolores Mary (Leis) Patrick. She peacefully moved on to be with our Lord at the age of 87 on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Bellevue Care Center while surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on November 28, 1937 in Bellevue, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of the late Florian and Alma Leis. Dolores spent her younger years as a dedicated housewife, raising 6 children on the family farm while dabbling in interior design in her free time. She worked at Fanny Farmer before spending 15 years with Pioneer Balloon. Outside of work, she was passionate about traveling, animals, playing euchre and bingo, and her Z/28 Camaro. Dolores also enjoyed long car rides in the country to view the scenery.
She is survived by her children, Yvonne (Gerald) Risner, Cyndi Depinet, Brian Depinet, Michele (Rick) Carrick, Michael (RoxAnn) Depinet and Cheryl (Forrest) Hamilton; her siblings, Robert (Barb) Leis, Karen (Kenny) Depinet and Marlene (Eldon) Seasley; her 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Rowe; great-great grandson, Lukas Moore; and her former husband and father of her children, James M. Depinet.
Per her request, there will be a private funeral service at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
