Dennis J. Simpson, age 71 of Willard, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born July 30, 1953 in Willard, Ohio to the late Homer and Beverly (Schmidt) Simpson. He was a retired engineer for the CSX Railroad and enjoyed playing pool. He was a member of the Willard Elks and Moose clubs.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Reider) Simpson, whom he married December 14, 1976 and brother Doug (Felica) Simpson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with a sister-in-law Kay Knallay.
He is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Beverly Simpson and 2 brothers Don and Dave Simpson.
Per Dennis's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral at this time. Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio is assisting his family with arrangements.
