Joni Wilson of Greenwich, Ohio gained her angel wings on May 16, 2026. Joni was born on November 19, 1957 in Willard, Ohio to the late John and Avanel Hicks. Joni was 68.
Joni was a very hard worker and had worked at Guardian Manufacturing of Willard for 20 years. If she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Joni is survived by her two children, Chad (Alex) Wilson of Plymouth and Terri (Chris) Schlarb of Greenwich; four grandsons, Hayden Wilson, Levi Schlarb, Broc Schlarb and Gage Schlarb; four sisters, Wanda Brown, Peggy Holbrook, Patty Giles and Kathy Armitage, all of Willard; and brother-in-law, Carl Stein of Willard.
Joni was preceded in death by her parents, John and Avanel Hicks; sister, Betty Stein; brother, Ricky Hicks; and brother-in-law, Jerry Armitage.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Joni’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Zoe Carter officiating.
