In the early morning hours of August 20, 2026, Maria Gloria McCoy passed peacefully in her sleep, carried away by beautiful dreams and welcomed home by those who went before her: her parents, Gregorio and Guadalupe (Godines); her beloved son, Esteban Perez; her precious great-grandson, Juelz Bryant; and her siblings, Daniel Loera, Juan Loera, Sylvia Loera Wetmore, Carlos Loera, Erma Loera, Gregorio Loera Jr., Alex Loera, and Ester Loera.

She is survived by her daughter, Racheal (Sherman) Bryant; grandchildren, Joshua (Autumn) Bryant, Jacob Bryant, and Johnathan (Ashley) Bryant; great-grandchildren, Amiyah Bryant, Emeri Bryant, Delilah Gutierrez, Milena Gutierrez, Allysa (DaVonnie) Bryant, and Nevaeh Bryant; sister, Ramona Loera of Findlay; brothers, Hector (Lee) Loera of Port Clinton, David (Peggy) Loera of New London, Luis Loera of Willard, Jesse Loera of Norfolk, VA, and Erica Loera of Fostoria; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Maria was a woman with a heart as generous as it was strong. She was always there to help in whatever way she could, and she would gladly go without if it meant someone she loved had what they needed. She worried about everyone else before ever thinking of herself, always calling to check in and make sure her family was okay. She loved fiercely and deeply, with a kindness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

We find comfort in imagining her welcomed into Heaven by her beloved son, Esteban, and her precious great-grandson, Juelz, who were waiting to hold her once again. After a lifetime spent caring for those around her, perhaps she can finally rest peacefully, surrounded by the ones she missed so dearly, with a lifetime of stories to share and a watchful, loving eye over the family she left behind. Her love, her kindness, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Online condolences may be made to Maria’s family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
