Quite by accident, I stumbled upon this obituary. Mrs. Chase was my 1st grade teacher in Willard at Central Elementary. She was a wonderful teacher. I have many treasured memories of her that I cherish. Ironically, I have just retired from teaching with 35 years as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher. Mrs. Chase served as a model throughout my career.
