Dear Betsy, Don, Tom & Gene: On behalf of the parishioners of St. Bernard parish, and myself, I extend our prayer support to you during these weeks subsequent to your dear mother’s death. In her initial years at Hillside we had some nice visits. Over the past several months, wherever I found your mother, we would pray the Our Father together. Sometimes her lips joined my voice. Before going to Hillside with your father, I remember the pew your mother always sat in for Mass every Saturday afternoon. It was time for your mother to pass on to eternal life to be with God, whom she always loved and always sought to serve. Now she is at peace. May Jesus, our Good Shepherd, give you comfort and inner peace. I regret I was unavailable to minister to you at the time of your mother’s funeral. With sympathy, Fr. Bob Dendinger
