Alice was not only my sister but was also my Godmother. I can remember growing up when I was a young boy and my Mom and Dad couldn’t afford much for Christmas. I couldn’t wait to open Alice’s presents because she always gave me something I wanted. After moving to Florida whenever we came to Ohio we would always try to stop for a visit. People who knew her best knew she liked to embellish her stories. When John McCain ran, she would tell me he would call her to discuss campaign strategy. What I don’t understand is that with her advice how he lost. All kidding aside Alice was a very giving person and contributed a lot to the causes she thought just and fair. I am so glad we were able to see her before she passed and could still recognize us. We hadn’t been able to visit because of Covid-19. I remember my sister Patty saying she couldn’t get Alice to smile because Alice said she didn’t have anything to smile about. I was so glad we actually had her laughing about Joshie and the little animals he took from her house. The only reason we aren’t at the funeral is because we just saw her a couple of weeks ago and my Grandson Sebastian is graduating from high school the same day. I choose to remember Alice when she was in her house and was happy. I pray to God that she is laughing in Heaven with Harvey, Ercille, Cleone, Mom, Dad, Wendy, Johnny, and Bob. It brings me great comfort to know that Little Kenny finally has an Aunt that will spoil him. May God grant them all eternal rest. Love you Sis, your little brother Ken
