Mom called me up yesterday to tell me about Gene’s passing away. I’m so deeply sorry for Eva, Kim and Trish’s loss. He was a great guy. I remember how happy he was when he got that black Jeep back in like 1981 and how excited he was when he got Kim that classic Corvair. We talked a few times after I move back from Florida where he knew it was me walking from clear across the parking lot because of how I bobbed when I walked LOL. He talked of how he wished he hadn’t gotten ride of his Honda Helix scooter after I told him I”d recently picked one up myself. He always had a smile on his face.
