I first met Roger in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s as he & my dad worked together & I was young enough to go there & play & ride with Roger in his forklift. After my high school days, I worked there also. Roger always had a positive attitude with a fun, joking side whether circumstances were positive or negative.
No matter what – he always had not only a helpful hint or knowledge to share, but 2 helpful hands when a guy needed it. If more people were like Mr. Roger Furr, this world would be a very different place. May his family and loved ones have the “peace that passes understanding”, even as he has found peace at this time.
