Rev. Rhonda Holbrook

So sad for us left behind! But what a glorious reunion in Heaven for Big John! I’m sure as soon as he crossed over he heard, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.# He was a fine example of courage and integrity! Your church family will miss you terribly! I’m sitting here today thinking of the kids you drove to church and when you wanted to take a step back. We drove the church van for a few years and those kids truly loved you. I will never forget the Sunday we announced we were grandparents again and after the church bus run to take every one home we were headed to Toledo. You told us no way after church is out you kids go see that grand baby, I will take the kids home. The numerous youth trips to Winterfest in Knoxville, Tennessee….where you knew everything about the fuel stations, restaurants and shopping at every mile marker. I could always count on you to support me to get Rich to stop at Cracker Barrel. Boy, how did you love a good smorgasbord in Tennessee too, especially your Catfish! You were such an incredible blessing to everyone, even these last few months when you were in the nursing home, you were always thinking of others. You called us very often checking up on Rich, my mother and how I was doing after the passing of my mother. This is not goodbye, but see you later Big John. Ten four good buddy. Thoughts and prayers for all his kids as they lay him to rest today.
