Aunt Betty and Family:
I was saddened to hear about Uncle Red’s death. He was one of the funniest people in my life. He always made people feel welcomed and loved. Because of him, I have an appreciation of wild game (frog legs, venison, etc), baseball and most importantly, his family.
Betty and Red are family treasures–they could be counted on to attend every family event and no matter how many children, in-laws, grand-children they had in their life, they loved them all equally. Laughter was never in short supply.
I am sorry I cannot be there this week but please know I send my love from far away. I am sure Red is telling jokes or great stories to someone in heaven.
