Michael (Mike) Oney of Shiloh, OH died Monday Jan 16th, 2023 at Willard Mercy Hospital. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 16th, 1952 to Samuel and Louise (Allen) Oney in Shelby, OH but he lived most of his life in Shiloh. Mike graduated from Plymouth High School and ran the family business. He loved the work he did but his time with his family was the most cherished.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother Louise (Allen) Oney; his father, Samuel Oney; his wife, Deborah (Hoffman) Oney; his daughter, Michelle (Oney) Wiley; his sisters, Margaret Oney; and Brenda (Oney) Kline; and his brother, Mark Oney.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Giovanni) Gulino; his grandsons, Tyler (Cassandra) Wiley and Lu Gulino. Granddaughters Tristen Wiley, Michelle (Jonathon) Ordonez, Ashley Joyner, Francessca (Christopher) Polkinghorn; and his brother, John (Rebecca) Oney; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at 11:00 am on Saturday Jan 21st, 2023 at the Messiah House of Prayer, 74 Pettit St, Shiloh, OH 44878 with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm at the church. Pastor Bill Howell will be presiding. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Messiah House of Prayer at the church or at Secor Funeral Home in Willard.
