Agnes B. Seasly, age 96, of Attica, Ohio passed away at her home on Friday, June 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1928 in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio to the late Charles and Rosalia (Hahl) Schreiner and has been an Attica area resident her entire life. She was a 1948 graduate of Attica High School and was a homemaker and farm wife. Mrs. Seasly had also worked at the former General Electric in Bellevue, and later Pepperidge Farms in Willard. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Roxanne Bates of Attica, Phyllis Jean Butts of Perkins, GA, and Sandra Louise (Dan) Swartzmiller of Willard; four grandchildren, Emily Bates (Christopher Morgan), Michael (Erin) Swartzmiller, Melissa (Nate) Tuttle and Garrett Butts; and three great grandchildren, Casen, Reed and Kenzleigh Swartzmiller.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Seasly in 1976; two brothers, Herbert and Robert Schreiner; five sisters, Marcella Holmer, Marie Schreiner, Catherine Swartz, Florence Scherley and Pauline Williams; and son-in-law, Charles Bates.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Joseph officiating. The burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Attica. Online condolences can be left for her family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
