Alma Theresa Capelle, age 82, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at her home. She was born September 4, 1926 in Plymouth to the late Anthony and Isabella Milano. She was a graduate of New Haven High School. She worked at the former Pioneer Rubber Company and the Kroger Company. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard where she was active in the Alter and Rosary Society and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Christian “Curt” Capelle, whom she married on February 23, 1946; her daughters Vickie Velker (Alan) of New Tazewell, Tennessee, Jayne Craig (Ron) of Tucson, Arizona; her sons Curtis Capelle (Marianne)of Willard, Richard Capelle (Cynthia) of Willard; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son James Capelle, her sister Mary Pifher and her brothers Joseph Milano and Vincent Bisignano, Sr.
Calling hours will be Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. There will be a rosary service Sunday at 7:45PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with her nephew Father Cletus Pifher and Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Interment will be at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery in North Auburn, Ohio. Memorials contributions can be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or the MedCentral Hospice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
