Barbara Ann Adams Stone, age 55, resident of Shelby, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. Barb was born on August 2, 1955 in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley Adams and Louella (Moore) Adams Poole. She loved reading, dining out and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James “Dennis” Stone; daughters, Connie Lieurance (Daryl Knight) of Fort Gratiot, MI; Nicole Lieurance (Jack Fink) of Willard; Lisa Stone (Jerry Rose) of Mansfield; mother, Louella Poole; brother, David Adams both of Willard; sisters, Mary (Terry) Lutz of Plymouth; Judy (Lofty) Crofts; Brenda (Todd Bub) Kurzen both of Willard; mother-in-law, Imajean Stone of Willard; sister-in-law, Iris Racine (Dave) Hornung; brother-in-law, Oliver David (Debbie) Stone; along with seven grandchildren, Safire, Cheyenne, Angel, Jonathan, Brandi, Adriana and Alexa. She is furthur survived by nieces, nephews, a special cousin, Terry Bannworth, and other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Adams; sister-in-law, Angela Adams; granddaughter, Charity; and father-in-law, Oliver Stone.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Willard with Reverend Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Connie and I have been friends since we were 5 years old. So Barb was a second Mom to me. My Heart Breaks for the family and friends. If you knew Barb, you new a Great Wife, Mom, Grandma,Sister, Aunt and Friend…. She is resting in the Arms of God now, and will be greatly missed by soo many.
