Bernice A. Bailey, age 83, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1925 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Greene and Dora Turner.
She is survived by her son, James (Linda) Turner of Willard; a grandson, Michael Turner of Willard; two brothers, Milford and Joe Turner: a sister, Agnes Gail Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Allen; numerous brothers and sister.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 11 A.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio with Reverend Lloyd Bailey officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Dear James Arthur & Family,
For my brother Joe David Martin and myself I want to express our sympathy to you. It was indeed sad for us to hear of the death of our cousin Bernice. She was a fun cousin to have. She used to babysit for us. She used to make us cookies. We have fond memories of her.
When our mother died (your great aunt Rebecca Turner Martin) she came to Kentucky for the funeral. One of my very good memories of her is going out to breakfast with her and Dora Jean the morning after Mother’s funeral.
Bernice will live on in our hearts and minds as a loving and caring person.
I KNEW BERNICE…SHE WAS SUCH A LOVING PERSON & I KNOW SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED!! GOD BLESS YOU!
