Bertha C. Clark, age 76, resident of Crestwood Care Center in Shelby and former Greenwich resident, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in MedCentral Shelby Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1930 in Rowan County, KY to the late Jessie M. and Emma (Baldridge) Perkins and had been a resident of Shelby since 1979. She enjoyed gardening, and sporting events, along with her sons’ interest and desires with cars.
She is survived by three sons, Rodney and Cheryl Clark of Trenton, OH, Rocky and Janet Clark of Willard, and Mark and Patti Clark of Greenwich; eight grandchildren; a great grandson; and a sister, Gladys Young of Hotsprings, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Emma (Baldridge) Perkins; three brothers, Alvin, Jessie Jr. and Ralph Perkins; and five sisters, Anna McBrewer, Opal Shelton, Elizabeth Smith, Carrie Vick, and Eulah Bowman.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday, May 14, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM where the service will be held at 11:00 AM with Sister Barbara Jean Miller officiating.
