Beverly Ann Wheeler, age 81, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at her home. She was born in Norwalk, Ohio on October 18, 1943, the second eldest of twelve children to the late Earl and Mildred (Roth) Perry.
A Willard High School graduate, Bev worked for local businesses, most notably the Holland Market and Pamida. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was active with the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. Bev loved vacationing at the beach, golfing and camping. Her family was most important to her, whether it was spending time with her children and grandchildren or playing an intense game of cards with her siblings.
Bev is survived by her high school sweetheart of 63 years, Ben Wheeler; three children, Rick (Brenda) Wheeler, Randy (Gena) Wheeler and Leah (Chris) Long; eight grandchildren, Dustin Wheeler, Megan Wheeler (Ryan), Ross (Morgan) Wheeler, Ben (Leanne) Wheeler, Blaine Wheeler, Morgan Eye, Brehanna (Brandon) McCormick and Braylon Long; six great grandchildren; eleven siblings, Barbara Buss, Donald (Janos) Perry, Pat (Lon) Arnold, Mary (Matt) Gottfried, Sara (Roger) Menchofer, Sharon (Jeff) Ketcham, Lauri Wade, Craig (Cathy) Perry, Steve (Julie) Perry, Bobbi (Chris) Mahl and Tom (April) Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jayde Wheeler; and brother-in-law, Ron Buss.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 25 W Perry Street in Willard from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Bev’s Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Father Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to Southern Care Hospice.
