Birdie M. Pulliam, age 84, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in MedCentral Manfield Hospital. She was born June 5, 1928 in Junction City, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Willie Ellen (Blackerter) Rogers and had been a Plymouth resident since 1975. Mrs. Pulliam had been employed with the American Greeting Card Company in Danville, Kentucky and later employeed with Midwest Industries in Willard. She loved to sew, making clothes and dolls, crafts and gardening.
She is survived by one son, James (Belvie) Honaker of Willard; one daughter, Linda (Clyde) Wilson of Willard; a son-in-law, Claude Wilson of Shelby; numerous grandchildren great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and one sister, Jeannette Stagner of Louisville, KY.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Les Pulliam; a son, David Honaker; a daughter, Patricia Wilson; a grandson, Ricky Wilson; three brothers, Edward, Jesse Jr. and John Rogers; and three sisters, Catherine Wethington, Lillie Wethington and Bessie Lewis.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Herman Copley officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
