Bonnie J. (Rahm) Trimner, age 82, resident of Willard , Ohio passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Mercy Willard Hospital in Willard, Ohio. She was born on January 26, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Wallace and Alpha (Critzer) Rahm and had been a Willard resident all her married life. She was a 1948 graduate of New Washington High School and was a life long homemaker. Bonnie was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard for over 60 years where she served on church council, altar committee and served as cradle role coordinator. She was a 50 year member of the Harvesters Farm Bureau Council and a long time election board worker in Greenfield Township and a former member of the Merri Deck Pinochle Card Club.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Royden K. Trimner whom she wed on September 10, 1950; her children, Richard (Nancy) Trimner of Willard; Sharon (Ken) Hill of Bellevue; David Trimner of Alabama; Ken (Todd Urban) Trimner of Willard; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Trimner. Also survived by grandchildren, Geoffrey (Ashley) Trimner of Willard; Pam (Jared) Turnwald of Columbus; Dana (Blair) Baker of Willard; and Curt Hill of Columbus; great grandchildren, Brinn and Bristol Trimner; and Laiken Turnwald; a sister, Virginia Rhind of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Carl Durnwald; two brothers, William Rahm Sr. and Jerry Slayton; and a sister, Donna Shepard.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, Ohio, with Rev. Roger Thompson officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Remembering Bonnie & all of the family for the impact made on my life over the years. Bonnie had her own style of getting things done! I remember all of the picnics out by the pond & back @ the cabin, the wonderful food and fellowship. Bonnie was always fun, always made me feel welcome & cared for!
