Bonnie Purcell Morris, 81, of Willard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at home with her loving family by her bedside.  She was born on April 11, 1941 (a birthday she shared with her husband) in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Hager and Nora (Bailey) Purcell.  Bonnie was an Instructional Aide at Willard City Schools.  Since 1972, she was a charter member of the Christian Alliance Church.  Considered a prayer warrior by family and friends, she enjoyed sharing her faith. She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed writing poems and sharing them with others.  Her greatest pastime was family, friends and beloved dog, Lucky.

She is survived by her son, Steve Morris of Loudonville, and daughter, Michelle Morris of Willard; grandchildren, Megan Morris of Willard and Ryan Morris of Zanesville; and siblings, Maxine Lillo of Willard, Virginia Hillman of Port Clinton, Boyd Purcell, West Virginia, Shirley Purcell of Shelby, Kathy (Bill) Inmon of Tennessee, and Jean (Randall) Watts of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Richard “Curly” Morris, in 2011; son, Richard “Richie” Morris, in 1975; sister, Georgia Zoll; brothers-in-law, Gerald Lillo, Robert Hillman, Richard Zoll and Alvin Morris; parents-in-law, Richard and Mildred Morris; sisters-in-law, Joyce Myers and Myrtle Davis.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 5th, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Secor Funeral Home, Willard, Ohio.  Monday, May 9th, 2022 at 1 pm, a graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio.  The Morris family wishes to give special thanks to Stein Hospice for their outstanding care. I have so many fond memories of Bonnie, and all the wonderful Purcell family, and I'm so sad to learn of her passing. I loved this family, and loved their amazing, deep faith in the Lord.
