Brian D. Cole, age 54, loving son, loving brother and a friend of God went to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 23, 2012 while a patient at the Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on December 27, 1957 in Willard, Ohio to Melvin Cole and Wanda (Barnett) Stover. He was a member of the Orlando International Worship Center, the Eagles and Moose Clubs, and enjoyed fishing and cooking. Brian was a jack-of-all trades and most recently working in decorative concrete finishing.
He is survived by his father, Melvin D. Cole, Citra Florida; step mom, Mamie Cole, Hernando, Florida; four sisters, Marcia Vanderpool, Wildwood, FL; Sheila Billman, Cedar Lake, TX; Linda Wisecup, Orlando, FL; and Renee Stover, Bellevue, OH; two brothers, Kenneth Stover, Toledo, OH; and Matthew Stover, Norwalk, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Fae Stover; and grandparents, Bertie Barnett; Bertha Mae Lykins; and Herbert and Florence Cole.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Roy Kilgore officiating.
