Caleb William Hershiser, age 14, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 1, 2002 in Norwalk, Ohio, the son of Robert W. and Anna M. (Cummings) Hershiser of Willard. Caleb was an eighth grader at the Willard City Schools who enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing and being outside, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Caleb was always smiling, and would do whatever he could to help others.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Anna Hershiser; two brothers, Ryan Hershiser, and Dominic Cummings; a sister, Kendal Ann Hershiser all of Willard; grandparents, Bill and Judy Hershiser of Willard, and William and Sally Cummings of Norwalk; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by a cousin, Tyller Myers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Willard Christian Alliance Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bart McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made in Caleb’s name and left with the Secor Funeral Home, 202 W. Maple Street, Willard, OH 44890. God knows the pain they are going through and there are no words for her to be comforted your soul God is the only one that relieves that pain but it is pain that is always there and we truly feel it withour whole heart because i see the sadnes of my son towards his BEST FRIEND GOD BLEES them and force them to move forward

I am so sorry for your loss of such a sweet child. I met Caleb when he would go to my grandsons and he always had a smile . God be with you through this journey , My son was 15 and i can say i do know our sweet children are in heaven.
