Carl A. Geiger, age 76, resident of New Washington, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at his residence. He was born on November 3, 1931 in New Washington, Ohio to the late Frank and Mary (Gabriel) Geiger. He was formerly employed at North Electric in Galion and was a member of the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. He was a 1949 graduate of New Washington High School and attended Ohio State University.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Feaga) Geiger, whom he wed on November 21, 1970; three sons, Daniel Geiger of Norwalk; David Geiger of Indianapolis, IN; and Donald Geiger of New Washington.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Monday at 11:00 AM with Father Robert Dendinger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in New Washington. Memorial expressions may be made to St. Bernard’s Endowment Fund. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Carl. We live in his childhood home at 315 E. Main. It was a privelage to listen to his memories the few times we were able to talk to him. Our prayers are with you.
