Carl M. Donnersbach, age 41, of Shiloh, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born January 2, 1967 in Bucyrus, OH to Janice (Reber) and the late Joseph C. Donnersbach. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1985 and attended Pioneer Vocational School in Machine Trades. He was a machinist with Denton ATD in Milan, and had previously worked for R&D Equipment in Norwalk and Versitech in Greenwich. He was a member of the F.O.E. in Bellevue, the Shiloh American Legion and the National Micro Mini Tractor Pulling Association.
He is survived by his wife, Christine (Zellner) Donnersbach; his mother, Janice (Reber) Donnersbach of Plymouth; four brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Connie Donnersbach of Plymouth, Joseph and Laura Donnersbach of Plymouth, John and Ruth Donnersbach of Plymouth and Anthony and Theresa of Tiro; one sister-in-law, Beth Zellner of Shiloh and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and an infant daughter, Elizabeth Janice Donnersbach in 1992.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10AM with Fr. Stanley Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Dear Chris and Family,
We offer our condolences and will never forget our always “funny, and comical” friend! Carl always put a special “twist” of his very own on every situation be it good or bad! Carl made us all laugh and see the “good” in others no matter what had happened! We will miss him always and know he is alive and well in all of us he touched! Chris, We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. We will miss Carl very much. I know that Ed and Cody really looked up to Carl and valued his opinions and the work that he did.
Cody and I were going to drive out but we can’t because I can’t drive through Chicago and I won’t let Cody drive through there and Ed will be working.
