Carol A. Long, age 82, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Life Care Center of Medina. She was born on January 16, 1942 in Willard, Ohio to the late Tom and Blanche (Barnett) Bailey. Carol graduated from Willard High School in 1961 and had worked various jobs in her lifetime, including YMCA and Hillside Acres. She was a member of the Medina Assembly of God Church and enjoyed puzzles, crafts, and shopping.
Carol is survived by three children, Shelly (Trent) Heyman, Mark (Denise) Long, and Bryan Long; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gene A. Long; son, Michael Long; grandsons, Jarred Heyman and Brock Long; and siblings, Donna Funk, Lloyd Bailey, and Wilma Boetcher.
Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Carol’s funeral service will be held at the Christian Alliance Church, 1609 S. Conwell Ave, Willard, Ohio 44890 on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Aaron Klaehn officiating.
