Chad M. Bruner, age 39, resident of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio from an unexpected illness. He was born on June 6, 1973 in Willard, Ohio. Chad was a 1992 graduate of Willard High School and Pioneer Technology. He worked for 15 years at PPG and recently was employed at RR Donnelley and Sons as a material handler. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing.
Chad is survived by his three children, Danielle, Brayden and Jayson, all of Willard; mother, Dreama (Sutton) Groves of Willard; siblings, Christina Bruner of Bucyrus, Paul (Cristy) Bruner of Shelby, and Cyndy (Matt Jaeckin) Bruner of Willard; three step-siblings, Alicia Zachman of Shelby, Christopher Groves and Ryan Groves, both of Willard; his girlfriend, Crystal Craft and her children, Trent and Tye of Bloomville; numerous nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Bruner; and step father, Harold Groves.
Friends may call on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM until the time of the prayer service at 1:00 PM. Mike Combs will officiate the prayer service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to his children’s future well-being and left in care of Cyndy Bruner, 522 Clark St., Willard, OH 44890. You have been our thoughts and prayers for a very long time now. I truly don’t know how you get past losing a child, but I know you are a remarkable person and you will go on. We are always only a phone call away. We didn’t have the privilege of knowing Chad, but if he was like his Mother, it would have been our honor. Dani, Jayson, and Brayden: your dad will be watching over you, he won’t miss a single game, dance, or wedding that may be in your future. He will be right there by your side. Smiling and bragging ” those are my kids!” One day you will be reunited and can sit back and share stories once again. Until then keep living like there’s no tomorrow, enjoy life and do the best you can to make him proud! It won’t always be easy but that’s when you call one your friends and family to get you through. Found out about Harvey after the fact and Dreama you have to be one strong lady. We are so sorry and will always remember the good times with both Harv and Chad.
