Charles D. Mullins, age 69, resident of Tiro, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at his home. He was born on October 7, 1941 in Martin, KY. to the late Delman and Susie (Samons) Mullins. He retired from the CSX Railroad where he worked as a brakeman. Charles was a Mason who loved classic cars, NASCAR, camping and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lue (Singleton) Mullins, five children, Kelly (Dennis) Huntey of Monroe, Ohio, Kyle Mullins of Columbus, Ohio, Terry (Lisa) Hunter of Tiro, Ohio, Gary Hunter of Tiro, Ohio and Tammy Nickels of Tiro, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Samuel, Emma, Dustin, Darick, Cory, Jason, Josh, Michael, Jody, Heather and Ryan; five great-grandchildren; 13 brothers and sisters, Edna, Alton, Stoney,Susie, Ethel, Judy, Lucille, Jimmy, Floyd, Timmy, Angela, Emogene and
Sandy and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Berneice Mullins; one son, Craig; one brother, Michael and two sisters, Barbara and Carmel.
Friends may call on the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM where the funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Merlin Dye officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
