Charles Ray Ousley Jr. “CJ” passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 at his home in Willard, Ohio. He was born on March 17, 1971, in Willard, Ohio, to Charles Ray and Freda (Duff) Ousley Sr.
Known for his charisma and relatability, CJ faithfully worked at R.R. Donnelley for 31 years. When he wasn’t at home enjoying time with friends and family, you could find him fishing on the lake or playing a round of golf one of the local courses. CJ had a deep love for his family and always made time for those both near and far. Whether cheering for the Steelers or spending time with his grandchildren, being with the people he loved most brought him the greatest joy.
CJ is survived by his wife, Shana (Ditz) Ousley, whom he married on August 10, 2013; his children, Trenton (Simone) Ousley of Pasadena, Maryland; Gabrielle (Michael) Sanderson of Dayton, Ohio; and Caleb Ousley of Willard, Ohio; his grandchildren, Weston Ousley, Hazel Ousley, expectant baby boy Ousley, Brynlee Sanderson, and Adalyn Sanderson, expectant baby boy Sanderson; his father, Charles Ray (Carolyn) Ousley Sr.; his sister, Marsha (John) Kostoff of Willard, Ohio; his brother, Derrick (Peggy) Tuttle of Lexington, Ohio; his coparent Amy Ousley of Willard, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Freda (Duff) Ousley; his brother, Kenny Tuttle; and his infant children, Adrianna and Ethan Ditz-Villanueva.
Visitation will be held at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. His funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM with J.T. Reppart and Jeff “Duce” Palmiter officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The James - Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, 460 W. 10th Ave, Columbus, OH 43210.
