Clarence E. “Ed” Brown, age 49, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born on June 13, 1968 in Garrett, Kentucky to Ernest Kimberlin and Evelena (Gibson) Brown. Ed is a 1986 graduate of Willard High School and had worked for Tom Thompson Remodeling. He was a member of the VFW and had enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Ruby of Ashland, Ohio; a son, Dustin Wright of Lexington, Kentucky; mother, Evelena Brown of Willard, Ohio; 2 sisters, Ruth Howard of Hueysville, Kentucky, Rose Maye of Willard, Ohio; a brother, Charles Gibson of Willard, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and 3 grandchildren, Haley and Zane Wright, and Brooklynn Ruby.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Kimberlin; grandmother, Millie Sallee; a brother, Roger “RB” Brown; a grandson, Braxton Ruby; and a nephew, Charles Gibson, Jr.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services being at 1:00 PM with Pastor George Boyer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky.
