Sorry to read about Dale’s passing. Our prayers are with you at this time. We frequently wonder how you all are doing. We have good memories of enjoyable times spent with Dale and Gladys and your family over the years.
When I arrived aboard the Sturvenent at Cove Springs Florida, the ship was being prepared to being operational. That is when I met Dale, he was from Willard , me from Shelby. We had many “liberties” together and located many dancing areas. We returned to Newport R.I. on his Harley Davidson motorcycle after our “leave” of 15 days. He was very upbeat.
I treasured his friendship.
