David A. Miller, age 56, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was born on March 7, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Lenn and Kathleen (Copeland) Miller. David was a 1979 graduate of Willard High School, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bluffton College and was a managing partner with Gardner-Lindsey Insurance, Inc. in Willard. He was a member of the Willard Golf Club and enjoyed golfing and riding his Harley and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Schodorf) Miller; a son, Jacob Miller and Fiancé Katherine Durkin of Charlotte, NC; a daughter Taylor (William) Cunningham of Denver, CO; his mother, Kathleen (Copeland) Miller of Willard; his sister, Cindy Sokevitz of Willard; mother and father-in-law, John and Kathy Schodorf of Willard; brother-in-law, Ron Sokevitz of Willard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kelly and Kevin Predieri of Beavercreek, OH; and nieces and nephews, Rachel Predieri, Jessie Predieri, Brandon Sokevitz and Brock Sokevitz.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lenn Miller and a niece, Melissa Predieri.
Friends may call at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM where a service will be at 4:00 PM with Fr. Michael Diemer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willard Golf Club. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Pretty obvious Dave had a positive impact on many people he came into contact with.

Diane, Jake, Taylor, Mrs Miller and the rest of the Miller family we are so so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. We have been neighbors of Dave for 20 years and Randy considered him one of his best friends. We loved the times we got together but especially when we played cards. Dave loved his family so much and was so proud of Jake and Taylor. He always had a smile on his face and if you ever needed anything all you had to do was ask. He was an amazing man and our community will miss him. Know that we are praying for strength for all of you and may God be with all of you as you go through this this impossible time. No one can possibly understand what you are going thru Diane but if you need anything at all you just call me. We love you all!
