David Raymond Adams, age 80, of Marion, Ohio, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

He was born on April 20, 1941 in Willard, Ohio to the late Hobart and Allean (Hamons) Adams. David was a 1960 graduate of Greenwich High School and after graduation he joined the Air Force and served his country for 4 years.

He worked at R.R. Donnelley's in Willard and retired after 45 yrs. of employment. Throughout his life he enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing and really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren..

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Marion, Ohio and his best memories were attending church and worshipping the Lord with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Louise (Sallee) Adams, whom he married April 2, 1966 and daughter 'Jenny' of Marion, Ohio and 2 sons, Scott (Janis) Adams of Crestline, Ohio and Chris (Christy) Adams of Marion, Ohio, grandchildren: Seth (Lindsay) Adams of Bucyrus, Ohio, Kayleigh (Alex) Castro of Columbus, Ohio, and Conner Adams of Marion, Ohio and his Siblings, George (Bev) Adams Attica, Ohio and Freida DeWitt of Urbana, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews and 9 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Allean Adams and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Clay.

Friends and family may call on Friday May 7, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard and where the funeral service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio, where there will be military honors to honor his military service.
