Dean Patrick, age 81, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1929 in Salyersville, KY. to the late James and Cora Patrick. He retired from the CSX Railroad where he worked as a Machine Operator. Dean loved hunting, fishing and drinking coffee in the morning at McDonalds.
He is survived by 8 children, Lacella Holbrook, Billy (Melodie) Patrick, Carl Patrick, Dennie (Sandy) Patrick, Josie (Doug) Conley, Janet Hecker, Jimmy (Sharrilee) Patrick and Eddie (Lori) Patrick; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-on-law, Edna Wisecup, Wilma Patrick and Debbie Patrick; one brother-in-law, Tom Alsept; one uncle, Estle Patrick and care giver, Jack Absher.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Patrick; parents; 2 brothers, Dave and Ishmeal Patrick; 2sisters, Dolly Patrick and Nancy Howard; one granddaughter, Regina Rowe and two sons-in-law Rollie Rowe and Lance Holbrook
Friends may call on the Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 7 PM until Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7 PM when a prayer service will be held. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the church at 10 AM with Pastor Ron Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. I have known Dean a long time. I remember going to his and Nells house all the time when I was really little. I’d come with Aunt Rose alot. To all the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God sends you comfort in your time of sorrow.
