Dennis “Denny” W. Runion, age 66, of Willard, Ohio passed away on January 25, 2014 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on June 9, 1947 in Willard, Ohio to the late James and Betty (Wise) Runion. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and he loved playing the drums with his son. Denny was a 1966 graduate of Willard High School and a 1970 graduate from Tiffin University. He was an entrepreneur in computer, video and digital marketing. He loved his three grandchildren with all his heart.
He is survived by his son, Scot Runion of Findlay, Ohio; daughter Amanda Thornsberry of Findlay, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Lillian, Landon and Avery; soul mate Blanche Runion of Willard, Ohio; 2 brothers, Roger (Kris) Runion of Madison, Alabama and Damon Runion of Monroeville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Betty (Wise) Runion.
Friends may call at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. where a funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Roger Thompson officiating.
