Dennis Risner, age 65, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at UH Elyria Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 29, 1960, in Willard to the late Wilber and Zelda (Holida) Risner. Dennis owned and operated D & R Tree Service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, could fix anything, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Chad Risner of Plymouth, Ohio; Nicole Risner of Willard, Ohio; Isaiah (Kelsy) Risner of Willard, Ohio; Sierra Martin of Republic, Ohio; Elivia Brant of Willard, Ohio; and Issac Brant of Monroeville, Ohio; grandchildren, Maci Risner, Kaylyn Risner, Gisselle Risner, Hayden Risner, Briana Batrez, Elias Batrez, Paisley Risner, Braxton Martin, Nova Martin, Elliana Sanchez, Evelyn Brant, Greyson Brant and Everest Brant; one great grandchild on the way; fiancé, Dawn Brant; siblings, Arlie Risner of Bellevue, Ohio and Louise (Louis) Wilson of Kentucky; siblings-in-law, John (Yvone) Boswell of New Longdon, Ohio; Mark Boswell of Norwalk, Ohio; and Kelly Thompson of Bucyrus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by siblings, Mitchell Risner, Gloria Jean Risner, Harlie Risner, Melinda Risner and an infant brother, Marvin Ray Risner.
