I know the popular saying is that time heals all wounds. Actually, God heals all wounds; time can only mend them. I only knew Derek for one year in high school. We would sit at the back of the Latin class acting goofy and trying not to get caught. That’s the Derek I knew so many years ago and he was a real fun guy.
We are so sorry about the loss of Derek. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Linda,Darrel,Jason,Ryan,Robin, and Little Kensley, words can not express the loss you all are feeling right now.Darrel we went to school together,Linda we worked together, you all were are neighbors for many of years. We remember Derek since he was born, Great Kid,we remember all the boys over here playing, just being over here, they would all go back to the woods a play, Stephanie babysat,so many memories. We want you all to know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and may God hold you close today, tomorrow, and everyday you need Him there as you deal with this GREAT loss. As you all will feel Dereks loss in different ways, know God will comfort you, bless you with loving memories, and touch your heart with His everlasting love. And to Little Kensley hold those pictures of you and Daddy close, Daddy loved you.
