Diana Lynn Gauze, age 52, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on September 7, 1964 in Jackson, Michigan to the late James L. and Lucille (McCann) Hunt. Diana worked as a nurse’s aide at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby for the past 20 years. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother and had a special love for her pets. She enjoyed sewing and caring for the residents at the nursing home.
She is survived by her four children, Joseph Gauze of Plymouth, Ambur Gauze of Plymouth, Shawnee Gauze of Mansfield, Jessee Gauze of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Blake, Sebastien, and Isaiah; five sisters, Renee, Bonnie, Susan, Paula, and Paulette.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gauze; and a brother, James Hunt II.
